BACKCOUNTRY GUIDED TOUR – CDO TRAIL
Ever heard of Moab’s “Whole Enchilada” trail? Well Tucson has 3 of them (Lemmon Drop, CDO, and Red Ridge).
Canada Del Oro trail (CDO) starts at 9500′ elevation and finishes in the desert valley below at the 50 year trail system. This epic backcountry ride is raw and rugged, fast and flowy, and rocky and technical all at once. You’ll start in the high alpine terrain and cross through many creeks to ultimately drop back into the desert floor, amongst some of the largest saguaro and ocotillo forests in the Sonoran desert!
This ride requires a shuttle and a savvy Guide who can route find and navigate the ever-changing trail conditions. HG Guides are also trail builders who volunteer thousands of hours annually to keep these trails running fast and smooth, so they are intimately familiar with the area and can show you the fun lines and set a pace that is suitable to the riders!
Tour includes shuttle and guide – please contact us if you’d like to add a rental bike. Tours are limited to 6 riders per 2 guides for personalized support.
