Tara is a PMBIA Certified Coach\, and a Head Coach for Ladies Allride with Lindsey Richter\, traveling to Montana and Wyoming in the summers to help spread the stoke to ladies in this sport. Tara is a founding member and past president of TORCA (Tucson Off-Road Cyclists & Activists)\, and owner of Home Grown MTB Tours\, a guiding\, coaching\, shuttle\, and rental company. Tara’s first love is downhill\, and riding fast and challenging terrain is where she finds her flow. As a personal trainer for nearly 20 years\, Tara is skilled at developing athletes. She is results oriented with a passion for helping riders experience all they can from this sport. \n \nMatt Hrabko \nMatt relocated to Tucson from California several years ago and dove head first into the MTB scene. He is a lead guide and equipment manager for HG\, a Director on the board for TORCA\, and talented mechanic. Matt makes his living riding and working on bikes\, and has a “calm\, cool\, and collected” style that makes him a pleasure to be around. Whether he’s riding the chunk on the local trails or traveling to bike parks for downhill action\, Matt is a talented athlete who is always happy to share the stoke with those around him! Fun Fact:  Matt met his now wife at one of our first Mt Lemmon events\, several years ago. \n \nKimber Burger \nA lead guide for Home Grown MTB\, Kimber has guided hundreds of riders on Mt Lemmon and all Tucson trails. Her endless energy and boundless enthusiasm make her a joy to be around and learn from! As a rider\, Kimber is a total pro. As all good coaches\, Kimber was a student before she was a coach. She embraces and embodies the foundational skills\, and as a result has progressed extremely fast and is looking forward to her first Enduro race as an Expert. An adventure seeker by nature\, she travels as often as she can to ride new places\, and find bigger mountains to bomb down. As a newly certified PMBIA Coach\, Kimber is the full package! \n \nJuan Del Castillo \nA Tucson native\, Juan currently summers in Angel Fire\, NM where you’ll find him riding his moto on backcountry single track or whipping his bike off some sweet jumps at the Angel Fire Bike Park. Juan is an experienced rider who has coached several up and coming Junior racers – he is also PMBIA Certified and a Lead Guide for HG MTB. Known for his smooth\, stylish lines and comfortability with being in the air\, Juan makes riding mountain bikes look like a form of art. While his playful riding style stands out the most\, Juan is an outstanding guide and coach\, always eager to help each rider get the most out of their coaching session. \n \n**PLEASE NOTE:  HG believes a well-rounded athlete benefits from the perspective of both male and female coaching. While this clinic is focused on the ladies\, HG will utilize it’s professional male coaches to provide coaching assistance and mechanical support.

As a PMBIA Certified Coach\, Tara has an exceptional knack for pushing riders to help them break free of their self-imposed limitations. Using a logical approach versus a fear based approach\, Tara helps her students develop the skills required to make solid decisions on the trail. As one of the very first of only a couple female riders on her home mountain\, Mt Lemmon\, she often chased some of Tucson’s fastest riders down technical\, fast trails. Tara started a Tucson based shuttle\, rental\, and guiding company called Home Grown MTB in 2016. She has become a resource for locals and tourists alike\, looking to experience the big mountain riding and exhilarating backcountry trails of the Sonoran Desert. She is also a founding member and past President of TORCA (Tucson Off-Road Cyclists & Activists)\, with thousands of hours of volunteer work slinging dirt and rock to make the trails better for everyone. Tara has coached MTB professionally for the past 5+ years\, traveling the country working for some of the biggest names in the industry. \n \n  \nStefanie McDaniel \nGrowing up riding dirt bikes on technical desert single track\, Stefanie is no stranger to two wheels. After picking up mountain biking in 2015 and entering her first race in the fall of 2017\, she’s quickly made a name for herself in Professional Enduro Racing. Stefanie is the current 2-time Arizona and Nevada state Enduro champion\, and most recently 3rd overall Pro Woman in the 2019 Big Mountain Enduro Series. Riding for the US Factory Pivot Cycles Enduro Team\, Stefanie is looking forward to continuing to rise up the ranks in the coming years. She owes much of her success on the bike to continued quality professional instruction. Her passion for learning and practice has grown into teaching others how to progress safely and become more confident and skilled riders. As a PMBIA Certified Instructor\, Stefanie is excited to pass her stoke for bikes onto her future students! \n \n  \nKimber Burger \nAs a Lead Guide and Head Coach for HG MTB\, Kimber has coached and lead hundreds of riders on expert terrain. She credits her own progression in the sport to her first clinic with HG. Kimber is a skilled rider and an example of what good fundamentals can do! Her ability to exemplify sound technique is a testament to her skills. In the summer\, Kimber can be found at Angel Fire bike park and other downhill parks. She is a PMBIA Certified coach for Ladies AllRide with Lindsey Richter\, helping riders expand their riding to big mountain\, lift-accessed trails. In addition to being an exceptional mountain biker\, Kimber is a pleasure to be around and learn from. \n \n  \nLindsey Richter \nThe founder of Ladies AllRide\,Lindsey grew up in Portland\, OR and started racing mountain bikes in 1996 as a means to stay in shape while she sat at a desk working in advertising and PR. She fell in love with the freedom mountain biking brought into her life\, but also fell in love with the challenges\, frustrations and excitement. She has raced Cross-Country\, Downhill\, Enduro\, Super D and loves to teach ladies to jump\, pump and jib on their bikes. She has dedicated the past decade to teaching mountain biking full-time which has allowed her to become one of the best coaches in the business. She currently travels the world teaching as many women as she can with the mission to show them how mountain biking can change their lives. She is passionate about the symmetry between mountain biking and life and has a unique style of teaching that helps women develop a deeper relationship with their bikes\, while she also inspires them to live their best life. She is certified through PMBIA (Professional Mountain Bike Instruction)\, and BICP (Bike Instructor Certification Program). \nFun Fact: Lindsey was on the TV show Survivor: Africa in 2001. \n\n\n \n\n\nJoanna Yates\n\nAfter coaching full time at Snowshoe Bike Park in the beautiful mountains of West Virginia\, Joanna packed up and moved to the ledgy red-rock-mecca of Sedona. Riding in the rugged West Virginia terrain pushed her out of her comfort zone and eventually allowed her to transition from fearing technical terrain to seeking it.\n\n\nNowadays\, Joanna feels right at home on the rocky\, steep Sedona trails.  When instructing\, Joanna encourages her students to push their own comfort zones and helps riders to build a strong mental mindset\, a key to successful shredding.\nJoanna’s coaching style focuses on powerful guidance\, technical knowledge and strong structure. She builds confidence in her students by focusing on practice\, commitment and FUN. It is a proven fact that it is impossible to ride bikes with Joanna and not be smiling.\nShe currently holds her Level 2 Terra Method IDP certification and is working towards her BICP Level 3 Instructor Trainer Certification. She visits further training courses yearly and gets coaching monthly\, because for her\, lack of learning is regression.\nJoanna has been coaching professionally for the past 6 years\, and has helped hundreds of clients reach their full potential on the bike.\n\n \n\n\n  \nArt Alcantara \nArt is co-owner of HG MTB\, founder of TORCA (Tucson Off-Road Cyclists & Activists)\, PMBIA Certified MTB Coach\, and a big supporter of the ladies! Art is a talented rider who prefers long\, backcountry epics and hot laps at the bike park. Art got into the sport after meeting his wife\, Tara\, and together they’ve spent the past two decades making dreams come true on the bike. Favorite places to ride are Retallack – BC\, Whistler\, Angel Fire Bike Park\, and Mt Lemmon. His first coaching student was his wife\, Tara\, who he helped to develop into the rider she is today. Locally\, Art has developed opportunities and advocated on behalf of riders for the past decade. He is currently working with the Coronado National Forest Santa Catalina Ranger District on it’s Master Trails Plan to develop trails on Mt Lemmon. \n \n  \nJuan Del Castillo \nGrowing up riding dirt bikes in Tucson\, Juan is most comfortable on two wheels. After living and riding in Angel Fire\, New Mexico for many years\, he turned his focus to mountain biking. Juan made a name for himself at the Angel Fire Bike Park\, winning several “whip off” contests\, and competing at a professional level in downhill and enduro races. Juan is a lead guide for Home Grown MTB and PMBIA certified mountain bike coach. His smooth and creative style of riding has inspired many other riders\, and Juan is genuinely happy to share his techniques with those around him. \n \n  \nMatt Hrabko \nMatt relocated to Tucson from California several years ago and dove head first into the MTB scene. He is a lead guide for HG\, a Director on the board for TORCA\, and talented mechanic for Tucson Performance & Endurance Center. Matt makes his living riding and working on bikes\, and has a “calm\, cool\, and collected” style that makes him a pleasure to be around. As a PMBIA certified Coach\, Matt has worked with hundreds of riders to help them improve their skills and ride with more confidence. Whether he’s riding the chunk on the local trails or traveling to bike parks for downhill action\, Matt is a talented athlete who is always happy to share the stoke with those around him! \n \n  \nLea Julson-Gibbs \nLea has been mountain biking since before she moved to Bend\, in the late ’90s\, when she started racing and riding with some of the most talented riders at the time\, including professional XC and DH racers. She was one of the first women racers in the popular Super D series in Central Oregon (the pre-curser to Enduro)\, and went on to race the pro class in the first BME’s (Big Mountain Enduros). Lea is a strong backcountry rider\, skilled at everything from long Colorado climbs at elevation to ripping downhill trails and everything in between. She is a PMBIA certified instructor\, coaching privately and for Vida MTB series. While living and riding in the Denver front range\, she dedicated her time to COMBA\, leading women’s rides and advocating for riders. Lea currently resides in Telluride where she continues to help grow the sport\, including coaching youth and women. She is a full-time teacher\, wife\, and dog mom. Fun Fact!  Lea and Tara are childhood friends\, having ridden bikes together for the past 30 years. Bikes continue to bring them together and have been a driving force in their long time friendship. \n \n  \n\n**PLEASE NOTE:  HG believes a well-rounded athlete benefits from the perspective of both male and female coaching. While this clinic is focused on the ladies\, HG will utilize it’s professional male coaches to provide coaching assistance and mechanical support.
